Garlic
Pungent & powerful, BC grown garlic is going to pack the most punch on your plate. There are two basic families of garlic - softneck & hardneck from which many other varietals descend. Both types grow on our family farm with nary a spat of sibling rivalry, and we seek out the best varieties to accent your hearty meal creations. The simplest difference is that the stems of softneck garlic fall over when mature like an onion, and there are usually many various sized cloves in a bulb. Hardneck garlic however has a firm central stalk around which gather several larger, more uniformly sized cloves.
